THE BAR is one of the most successful STRIX Television AB formats produced in over twenty countries including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Argentina, Switzerland, Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic and Mexico. In the near future Armenian viewers will also get a chance to see this reality show and take part in it.

12 contestants must spend twelve weeks under one roof, running a bar together. Their goal is to make the bar a success. It’s their only source of income, so they must keep the crowd coming through the doors. Each week the contestants must come up with a headline event with an interesting theme. At the end of the week, the contestants discuss their progress and the viewers determine which barman has to leave the show. Two contestants compete in the final, and the winner gets the main prize.

STRIX Television AB formats are represented by CINEMOTION GROUP in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic states.
