When Gena Bukin got married, he promised to Dasha the life of a princess. However, not a very wealthy princess of a very small country that is, which Gena forgot to mention. In this country beautiful princes work in shoe stores, have a very vague understanding of what the words “husbandly duties” mean, and live in a flat that is in eternal state of repair.
Gena sells footwear and considers himself to be the best at it in Ekaterinburg and the whole of Russia, he refuses to perform his husbandly duties while Dasha refuses to accept it. That is why they fight on a daily basis, and endless arguing takes up most of their free time.
They also have kids – Sveta, who is in love with every guy in the neighborhood, and Roma, who dreams of at least some kind of girlfriend. Other than that, the flat is temporarily occupied by Syoma, who came to them from Dasha’s relatives. Syoma teaches Roma to romance girls, and explains to Sveta what people need reason for.
And then there’s Baron – a dog that started talking out of despair. However, his thoughtful reasoning is heard by none.
