The plot of the series Who's The Boss in the House? is simple: a wealthy woman, who is divorced and has an eight year old son, hires a male housekeeper, who has lost his wife and was left with a daughter.

Everything seems clear – this will probably lead to mutual interest, infatuation, and they will most likely wed by the end of the series! Of course this is exactly what the viewer is going to wait for during the whole series.
